Rear Naked Choke Masterclass:
turn the RNC into your #1 submission technique.
What's your #1 submission technique?
In training, but especially in competition... Do you have a submission technique that you always resort to?
That is: is there a move that you can always count on? That always, once you lock it up, gets that tap?
The sad reality is, however, that no matter how good your technique is, your opponents - if they're skilled enough - can almost always escape it.
Yes, even if you've got it locked in tight they can escape it (especially in competition, where the adrenaline is running high and they're willing to let a limb or two break, rather than tap out).
In other words, most submission techniques can and will be escaped from or pushed through by the most persistent of opponents. Even at the price of an injury.
Which is bad news for you. Because, even though you don't want to see anyone hurt, you still want to win the match.
And heck, you'd prefer doing it without breaking a limb or two.
So what are you supposed to do?
Well, getting to the Rear Naked Choke is the way to go.

A lot of submission techniques:

Can be escaped from
Even when you think you have the submission in place, often times your opponents can pull off a last-second escape attempt that sets them free - and pushes you back to square one, having to find options yet again.

Can be pushed through
Even if your submission is locked in tight and you've done everything perfectly, if the adrenaline is running high, your opponent might decide not to tap after all - even at the risk of getting injured, just so they can continue the match.

Aren't that effective
Of course, a lot of BJJ submission techniques are effective - but let's face it... A lot of them aren't. Or at least the setups that (are supposed to) lead to these submissions end up looking cool, rather then being successful.
My name is Rafael.
I'm a multiple-time BJJ and MMA world champion, as well as an owner and main coach at the Lovato's School Of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and MMA (Oklahoma City, USA).
And I have a solution to your submission worries.
You see, with the right amount of adrenaline, skill, and experience, almost any limb-based submission can be escaped from or pushed through.
This includes Armbars, Kimuras, Wristlocks, even Heel Hooks and so on...
But there's one thing your opponents will never be able to push through. No matter the adrenaline, the experience, or the skill they possess.
A choke. In this case, the most dominant (and most famous) choke of them all: the Rear Naked Choke.
Once a Rear Naked Choke is locked tight, they can either tap out - or go to sleep.
There's just no way out of it. As soon as it's on, you can be sure that the win is yours.
However, it often does take some time to get to the RNC. You have to know how to set it up, the concepts that make it work, how to handle the opponent's defense, as well as the details that make all the difference.
Which is why I've created this course. The RNC Masterclass.
